Kids Pottery Workshop
K–8th Grade | 2-Hour Workshop | 1:00–3:00 PM
Come get your hands dirty and have some fun with clay! In this 2-hour workshop, students will get to experience both the pottery wheel and handbuilding, giving them a chance to explore different ways of creating with clay.
No experience is needed! Complete beginners are welcome, and students who have been doing pottery for a while will have plenty of freedom to challenge themselves and try new techniques.
Students will work on a variety of projects while learning the basics of working with clay, including shaping, building, decorating, and using the pottery wheel. Each workshop will be a little different, so students can come back and continue exploring!
Parents: You are welcome to stay and help if your child needs assistance, or you can drop them off and return at the end of the workshop. The studio is small and hands-on, so parent participation is welcome when needed.
Ages: Kindergarten–8th Grade
Time: 1:00–3:00 PM
